Nice Job

Awesome job with this. You definitely keep getting better with animating and drawing. It's looking really nice.

Great job to Francine. The singing definitely sounded a little bit unenergized at times, which is completely understandable, but the lyrics were absolutely great. I can't really think of a game you missed. Video game references out the wazoo. Very clever lyrics and ending was absolutely fantastic.

FaltaViva responds:

Thanks man, and I'm sure Frankie would thank you too if she were on, you need to get back in the VA scene man! (Unless you already are, I need to get back into that scene myself >_>)

Great artwork.

I love your drawing and animation style. I think it really stands out. Overall, I think this was very well drawn. I'm not much of a Street Fighter fan, so I can't really say how good of a parody it is. The main reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it was so short.

I think you could make some great stuff, I can't wait to see what your next project is :)

Not too bad

Overall, I can tell that you put a lot of work into the animation, and it turned out pretty good, but I have some advice.

1) Subtle animations, like a head moving while talking, or using a blur in certain situations, really makes an animation come to life. Making the characters move more while they are talking, having a sunset in the desert, really small, unnoticeable things make the animation a lot better overall. You should try to involve those more in your animations.

2) Since the majority of the animation was audio-heavy, you should have made the voicing more energetic, and which have more variety. Also, the microphone quality was fairly bad. I would suggest getting voice actors for something like this, there are plenty of places to find them on the internet for free.

3) Try not to use shape tweens. They look very cheesy.

Other than that it was some pretty good animation with a good lesson behind it. Good job! :)

djbiscool responds:

Thanks for the advise. We had to use a rock band microphone which was why the quality was so bad and we wanted to get it on newgrounds by tomorrow which is why I shape tweened some things instead of doing frame by frame

Nice.

I really like your style of animation and drawing. Obviously this was supposed to be part of a collab, but I just wish it was longer, or had more to it. Other than that, it was very good.

SuperSkittles responds:

Maybe I'll do some more animations in the same vein as this. Maybe. Probably not, though.

Although... METAL GEEEEEARRRRRR!

Go PSU!

Nice one. I'm on PSTV too. Is this the first animated promo they've had?

Not bad for a first.

In fact, it was amazing for a first submission. Very well drawn. Animation was solid. Very boring, but still had a lot of work put into it. Keep it up!

kawaiiminda responds:

Thank you and I'll try to put more actions next time besides i plan to make another about the same character. ^___^

Nice

Really good animation and drawing. Love the character designs. Pretty funny too. minor problems with the animation, but those are things I'm sure you'll catch once you get a bit more experience.

My biggest qualm is the audio. It is very low quality. Try standing further from the mic when you talk to avoid the pops. Also, the voices sometimes lack variety, try to get some more people doing voices for it.

Other than that though, this has really good potential.

NEDP responds:

A rock at the top of a cliff has as much potential. Someone just needs to push it off. Thanks for the review, I'll work on sound quality a little more next time around.

Nice

Not bad, funny, very simple and pretty good character design.

If I can give some advice, I'd definitely say to add more detail to the background. You only really used one, so it should have a bit more work put into it.

Ps: You missed a space between "Of" and "Newgrounds" in the title in the flash.

Needs a lot of work.

Definitely way too long. You should have at least added lyrics at the end that follow the song. Also, the song goes longer than the actual movie.

You need a lot of work, but keep on trying. Just practice with it a lot and you'll definitely get better. Next time you submit something, make it as good as possible. It will definitely make you a better animator.

Not bad at all!

Good job with this. Amazing use of sound effects for a flash game and some really tight animation.

The drawings a bit sloppy, though, the overall characters could have been made a lot cleaner. Also, the recording quality was pretty bad, lots of pops and hard to hear what people were saying, which took away from the comedy a lot. You may want to think of getting a few voice actors to help you with your series to give the voices a little more variety.

But overall, it was real good for a first episode. I can't wait to see when this thing really starts going strong.

TechFinch responds:

Thanks for the review. Sorry about the sound quality. I had to reduce the quality to get the file size under 10 megs, and that included making everything mono (which unfortunately meant that the stereo sound effects like the drum build ups became crackly at certain points). Once I get my website fixed, I plan on uploading a nicer quality version there. Thanks again for the feedback.

Hey there everyone. I'm a voice actor. Look at my favorites list for some roles I've been in. Visit my website for my resume, demo's, etc.
